My Road..

My life
is a
crazy, hectic, insane roller coaster ride and on this journey I am learning everyday how to love the Lord, myself, and others. My Jesus said in Matthew 11:29, "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." And that is my exact mission. I want to follow God, learn constantly and my goal is to become gentle, humble and peaceful in every aspect of this life. I have an amazing story so far... but God is no where near showing me or the world the ending. :) I am a daughter, smiler, girlfriend, lover, writer, blogger, friend, sister, painter, gardener and I LOVE who I am. On this journey I have one prayer and that is to: "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul."-Psalms 143:8

I am unsure, unfinished... and I am happy.
I am Kelsey.

Number Three: Traditions

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year because we have a beautiful tradition that we usually ALWAYS do! :)

Thanksgiving is always spent with my dad's family-- the LOVELY Harris clan. We are a unique bunch full of insane laughter and perfect love! Every Thanksgiving we all get together in Macon to celebrate thanking the Lord for all of our blessings.

At least five things are guaranteed to happen during the special holiday:
1st. We WILL eat Meme's phenomenal home-cooked meal for lunch and dinner.. :)
2nd. We WILL all at some point, watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.... and some kind of sports event. Usually football :)
3rd. The brother-in-law's WILL play a nice, cool game of golf at some point.
4th. A group of us WILL get together and go see a movie! :)
5th. We WILL play some ridiculous made-up game.. usually invented by Uncle Scott. :)

I am so thankful for these incredible traditions that make my Thanksgiving holidays perfect. Traditions are consistent, never ending, and something you can always count on. Those are things we can always use in our lives. :)

These may seem small or perhaps even silly to you. But these few things make my thanksgiving PERFECT.
